FAQ

Do you have anything Gluten-Free?

I’m sorry, but nope! But unless you have celiac’s disease, you should give our treats a try! Gluten is the protein formed when wheat (flour) is hydrated (wet) and agitated (mixed together). Most pastries are pretty low in gluten because they use minimal water and minimal mixing. Gluten is chewy - think bagels and pasta - while cookies and cakes tend to be tender and/or crumbly - i.e. low in gluten! Many of our customers who are sensitive but not intolerant enjoy our products. NOTE: out treats are NOT okay for those with Celiac’s disease or true gluten allergies.

Are there nuts in your pastries?

Our products are always free from pistachios, cashews, walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts. They do contain almonds, coconut, and soy.

What are the allergens in your items?

The most common allergens in our products are coconut, soy, almond, and wheat. They are free from all other nuts, dairy, and eggs.

Is anything sugar-free?

Nope! Our treats are sweet! (But not too sweet!) We use organic cane sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, and fruit for sweeteners.

What does “plant-based” mean?

Plant-based means that all of our ingredients come from a plant (and not an animal!) Another way to say it is that our goodies are vegan. We never use eggs, butter, milk, cream, or any other dairy or animal products in anything. Our treats are safe for those with egg and dairy allergies.

What do you do in the off season?

Relax! Ha, just kidding. We have custom pastry boxes available for local delivery during the winter months. If you’d like one, sign up for our mailing list! We take orders beginning in October.

Do you sell anywhere else?

We sell direct to our customers at the Ventnor Farmer’s Market Memorial Day through Labor Day and we have delivery/pick up options October - May. We don’t have our own brick and mortar (yet!) but we hope that you’ll see our products in some other shops around town soon!

Do you ship?

We do not ship at this time!

Do you take special orders?

Sure! Drop us a line and let us know what you have in mind.
